Men’s, Women’s Basketball Teams to Host Sideline Cancer Night
The Penn State Altoona men's and women's basketball teams will continue their annual partnership with the Griffith Family Foundation on Wednesday, February 5, when the Lions will host Sideline Cancer Night during their home doubleheader against Mount Aloysius College. The men's game starts at 5:30 p.m., and the women's game tips off at 7:30 p.m.
The Griffith Family Foundation, which raises awareness and funds to support the battle against pancreatic cancer, is joining with the Penn State Altoona basketball programs to raise money for Michelle Blackman, the mother of men's basketball freshman Kal-El Gentles.
In addition to donating money on the night of the event, fans can support the cause ahead of time by making a donation or purchasing Sideline Cancer gear at the link below.
