HAMBURG, N.Y. - Penn State Altoona men's soccer earned its second Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference win of the season on Saturday afternoon, defeating league opponent Hilbert College 3-1 at Varsity Field.

The Lions scored the game's first goal shortly before halftime. Weaver netted his second goal of the season at 44:08 to make it 1-0, deflecting a shot into the net. Evan Cardoza (Altoona, PA/Altoona) recorded the assist on the goal for his first collegiate point.

The Lions padded their lead at 64:43, when Crist scored his first goal of the season. Ben Jago (Allentown, PA/Parkland) set up Crist with a pass, and Crist fired a shot into the lower right corner of the goal to make it 3-0.

Hilbert (0-9, 0-3 AMCC) got on the board late in the period, when Jon Saeli took Travis Hicks' pass and sent a shot past the keeper. But Penn State Altoona prevented any further damage, securing a two-goal conference win.
