Men’s Tennis Makes Schedule Adjustments

ALTOONA, Pa. – On Wednesday, the Penn State Altoona men's tennis team announced a pair of changes to its schedule for the rest of the week.

The Lions' road match at non-conference opponent Juniata College, scheduled for Thursday, March 21, was postponed due to cold temperatures. With temperatures projected to be in the 30s in Huntingdon on Thursday evening, the outdoor match was deemed unplayable. A makeup date for the contest has not yet been determined.

Additionally, Penn State Altoona's road match at Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Penn State Behrend, previously scheduled for this Saturday, March 23, has been reorganized into a doubleheader in Altoona on Sunday, April 14. That day, the two teams will face off in both of their regular-season AMCC matches, with both matches being played in Altoona starting at 1 p.m.

With the schedule changes, Penn State Altoona's next match is Tuesday, March 26, when the Lions will travel to play nearby AMCC foe Mount Aloysius College at 3 p.m.
