Men's Volleyball Adds Home Match With Juniata

ALTOONA, Pa. – The Penn State Altoona men's volleyball team has not played its last home match of the 2019 season, after all.

On Wednesday, the Lions volleyball program announced that it had added a home match against non-conference opponent Juniata College to its schedule. The match will be played on Wednesday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the Adler Arena.

The date is a reschedule of a match between Penn State Altoona and Juniata that was originally set to occur on January 19, part of a larger quad match that was to be hosted in the Adler Arena. However, that day's matches were wiped out due to a winter storm.

Penn State Altoona men's volleyball's next matches are this Saturday, March 23, when the Lions will travel to Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pa. to face a pair of their former North Eastern Athletic Conference opponents. At 2:00 p.m., Penn State Altoona will play Keuka College before finishing the day at 4:00 p.m. against Wilson.

Note: Due to a home Penn State Altoona softball doubleheader already scheduled for that afternoon, there will not be live video available for the men's volleyball home match against Juniata. In the event that softball is postponed for weather-related reasons, live video will be available for the men's volleyball match.
