Softball Program Launches Crowdfunding Website
Penn State Altoona softball officially kicked off its online crowdfunding campaign on Monday, securing donations to help support the team's annual spring break trip.
The Lady Lions' annual trip south is an important part of the team's season, providing a way for Penn State Altoona to play a full week of games in early March when the Pennsylvania weather is often not ideal for outdoor sports. Additionally, the Lady Lions' trip allows the team to compete against other schools from across the country that the program would normally not have the opportunity to play.
