The Penn State Altoona women's basketball team has scheduled an informational meeting for Monday, August 20 at 6:00 p.m. in the Media Room on the second floor of the Adler Athletic Complex.

This meeting is intended for any female Penn State Altoona students who are interested in playing for the NCAA Division III women's basketball team, including returning players from last season's squad. The meeting will address the required steps to be completed by players prior to the start of the season, as well as any other questions that student-athletes may have about involvement with the team.

Additionally, the women's basketball team is looking for a student to fill the role of team manager. This role is open to any current Penn State Altoona student with an interest in basketball and experience with assisting a basketball team in areas such as keeping statistics or helping during practices.
