BUFFALO, N.Y. – No. 4 seed D'Youville College scored the go-ahead goal with under 10 minutes remaining in Saturday's Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference first round game at Dobson Field, eliminating the No. 5 seed Penn State Altoona women's soccer team from the postseason.

Arianna Mancini (Abington, PA/Abington) scored her third goal of the season for Penn State Altoona (7-9-2), while Kierra Irwin (Altoona, PA/Altoona) had an assist. Kaitlyn Harmon (Sunbury, PA/Shikellamy) made two saves in goal for the Lady Lions.

D'Youville (10-5-2) scored the game's first goal at the 1:44 mark, when Marina Campbell converted a penalty kick that was awarded to the Lady Spartans for a hand ball called inside the box.

Penn State Altoona knotted things up midway through the first half, when Irwin's free kick found Mancini, who headed the ball into the net at 28:15 to tie the score 1-1.

But D'Youville got the last word, scoring the game-winning goal late in the second half. Makenna Magee found Jordan Pacha with a pass, and Pacha's shot from outside the top of the box beat the keeper at 81:22 to put the home team up 2-1.
