Lady Lions Swimming Falls to Alfred State

ALTOONA, Pa. - Penn State Altoona women's swimming hosted Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Alfred State College on Saturday afternoon at the Altoona Area High School Pool, and the Lady Lions lost 188-65.

Danielle Bye (Hockessin, DE/Cab Calloway School of the Arts) recorded three individual first place finishes for Penn State Altoona.

In the 100 Yard Butterfly, Bye came in first place with a time of 1:04.94. Several events later, she won the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:00.73. Bye recorded her third win of the afternoon in the 200 Yard I.M., in which she came in first place with a time of 2:27.38.

Penn State Altoona women's swimming returns to action on Friday, December 1, when the team hits the road to compete against AMCC opponent Cabrini University. That meet begins at 6:00 p.m.
