Women’s Swimming Drops Meet at Alfred State
ALFRED, N.Y. – Penn State Altoona women's swimming fell 161-22 to Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Alfred State College on Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Lions' performance was highlighted by a handful of second place finishes.
Hannah Kimmick (Greensburg, PA/Hempfield) had three second places individually. In the 50 Yard Freestyle, she placed second with a time of 29.73. Kimmick also picked up a second place finish in the 500 Yard Freestyle, finishing in 6:09.88, and she was second in the 50 Yard Butterfly with a time of 36.42
Kaitin Heil (Pittsburgh, PA/CAPA) was the runner-up in the 100 Yard Freestyle, clocking in at 1:06.32.
Next up, Penn State Altoona women's swimming will travel to new AMCC opponent SUNY Delhi for a dual meet on Saturday, December 1 at 11:30 a.m.
