In the bottom of the first inning, Jace Irvin opened the scoring for Juniata with an RBI single before Jackson Cunnane's grand slam to left made it 5-0. Charlie Bakken's RBI single to center put the home team up by six.

Penn State Altoona got a run in the top of the second to cut the Eagles' advantage to five. Corey Chamberlain (Claysburg, PA/Claysburg-Kimmel) reached on an infield error to start the inning, and Ingold followed with a base hit to put runners at the corners. James St. Laurent-Friend (Wake Forest, NC/Wake Forest) brought Chamberlain home with a sacrifice fly to right, making it 6-1.

Juniata got that run back in the third on Jordan Chui's RBI single through the left side, reestablishing a six-run lead, 7-1.

Juniata increased its advantage to 9-2 in the bottom of the sixth, when Zach Johnston's bases-loaded walk brought home one run and Ricky Scott's RBI single to center added another.

Penn State Altoona picked up a third and final run in the top of the seventh. Green led off with an infield single to third, stole second, and later came home on a Chelli sac fly to left, putting the score at 9-3.

Game Two: Penn State Altoona 2, Juniata 1 (Final/8 innings)

Each team scored a run in the first inning, but the 1-1 score remained until the eighth, when Penn State Altoona was finally able to break the tie and ultimately finish its season with a win.

Chamberlain finished the game by tossing a perfect bottom of the eighth, striking out the side to record his second save of the season.

The teams traded runs in the first inning. In the top half, Green led off with a double to left, moved to third on a groundout, then scored on Chelli's fielder's choice to give the Lions a 1-0 lead. Juniata responded with a run in the bottom of the inning, when Scott's RBI double to right tied the score at 1-1.

The 1-1 score remained until the top of the eighth, when Penn State Altoona broke through for the go-ahead run. McCaffrey followed that with the game-winning hit, sending an RBI single to center to put Penn State Altoona in front, 2-1.
