ALTOONA, Pa. – The Penn State Altoona men's soccer program released its 2019 season schedule on Monday.

The Lions' 19-game schedule includes 10 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference matchups and 10 home games to be played at Spring Run Stadium.

Four of Penn State Altoona's first five games are home dates. The Lions open with back-to-back home contests against Transylvania University (Friday, August 30 at 6:00 p.m.) and Denison University (Saturday, August 31 at 2:00 p.m.). After embarking on their first road trip of the season to play Westminster College on Wednesday, September 4 at 5:00 p.m., the Lions return for two more back-to-back home games against King's College (Friday, September 6 at 6:30 p.m.) and Bryn Athyn College (Saturday, September 7; start time to-be-announced).

The men's soccer team continues its schedule with three consecutive road games, facing Washington & Jefferson College on Wednesday, September 11 at 7:00 p.m., Juniata College on Tuesday, September 17 at 6:30 p.m., and Saint Vincent College on Wednesday, September 18 at 4:00 p.m.

The Lions open AMCC play at home on Saturday, September 21 against D'Youville College at 2:00 p.m. Penn State Altoona returns to non-conference play with a home game against Chatham University on Wednesday, September 25 at 7:00 p.m. The team finishes September on the road, playing new AMCC opponent Alfred State College on Saturday, September 28 at 2:00 p.m.

Penn State Altoona starts the next month with three straight AMCC home games, hosting Franciscan University (Tuesday, October 1 at 6:00 p.m.), Medaille College (Saturday, October 5 at 4:15 p.m.), and Pitt-Greensburg (Wednesday, October 9 at 6:00 p.m.).

Next, the Lions will hit the road for two conference games, traveling to play Penn State Behrend (Saturday, October 12 at 2:00 p.m.) and Mount Aloysius College (Tuesday, October 15 at 6:00 p.m.). Penn State Altoona's final regular season home game will be Saturday, October 19 against AMCC foe Pitt-Bradford at 1:00 p.m.

The Lions finish their regular season by facing a pair of AMCC opponents on the road, going up against La Roche University (Wednesday, October 23 at 1:00 p.m.) and Hilbert College (Saturday, October 26 at 1:00 p.m.).

The AMCC postseason dates are Saturday, November 2 (first round), Wednesday, November 6 (semifinal round), and Saturday, November 9 (championship).
