2018-19: Swam as a freshman with the Penn State Altoona men's swimming program...in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championships, competed in the 'A' finals for the 800 Yard Freestyle Relay, 400 Yard Medley Relay, and 200 Yard Medley Relay events...also swam in the 'A' final for the 200 Yard Backstroke...earned a spot on the AMCC Academic All-Conference Team.

High School: Two-year letter winner in swimming...Academic All-American during his senior year in 2017...four-year honor roll student.

Personal: Son of Kim and Phil Begany...majoring in Rail Transporation Engineering...participates in AREMA, the Outdoor Adventure Club, and Environmental Coalition at Penn State Altoona.
