Monday Softball Doubleheader Snowed Out
ALTOONA, Pa. – The Penn State Altoona softball team's home doubleheader against non-conference opponent Chatham University, scheduled for today, Monday, April 1, has been postponed due to snow.
Penn State Altoona's campus saw a significant accumulation of snow during the Sunday night and Monday morning hours, blanketing Stewart Athletic Field. Due to the unplayable field conditions, the doubleheader was postponed.
A makeup date for the non-conference games has not yet been determined. Check back to the Penn State Altoona Athletics website or social media accounts for any updates.
Penn State Altoona softball's next games will be on the road this Thursday, April 4, when the team will travel to New Wilmington, Pa. to play non-conference foe Westminster College in a doubleheader beginning at 3:00 p.m.
