BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Penn State Altoona softball doubleheader at Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Medaille College, scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, April 7, has been postponed due to field conditions.

After receiving a significant amount of rain on Friday, the field at McCarthy Park was deemed unplayable for the weekend. The doubleheader was originally set to happen on Saturday, April 6, but it was moved to Sunday before ultimately being postponed. A makeup date for the AMCC games has not yet been determined, but it is expected to be set within the next several days.

With the postponement, the Lady Lions' next scheduled games are Monday, April 8, when the team will travel to Latrobe, Pa. to take on non-conference opponent Saint Vincent College in a doubleheader starting at 3:00 p.m.
