ALTOONA, Pa. – The Penn State Altoona softball team's home doubleheader against non-conference opponent Geneva College, scheduled to happen on Monday, April 22, has been cancelled.

Geneva's doubleheader against Presidents' Athletic Conference opponent Waynesburg University was rescheduled to April 22. With conference games taking precedence, the non-conference doubleheader between Geneva and Penn State Altoona was cancelled. A makeup date is not expected.

Penn State Altoona's doubleheader against Geneva was originally scheduled to happen on March 23, but it was postponed due to inclement weather and unplayable field conditions. It was subsequently rescheduled for April 22.

Softball's next games are Tueday, April 16, when the Lady Lions will travel to play Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent La Roche University in a doubleheader beginning at 3:00 p.m.
