Pupillo, Butler Compete in Mount Aloysius Invitational
CRESSON, Pa. -- Penn State Altoona's pair of women's golfers competed in Sunday afternoon's Mount Aloysius College Invitational at the Summit Country Club.
In her second event of the young season, Katie Pupillo (Skippack, PA/Perkiomen Valley) shot her best score by firing a 98 to place seventh out of 16 individual women's golfers. Meanwhile, Gwyneth Butler (Avonmore, PA/Kiski) golfed in her first collegiate round and shot 108 to come in 11th place individually.
Next up for the Penn State Altoona Lady Lion golfers, the pair will compete in the Saint Vincent College Fall Invitational on Wednesday, September 26 at Glengarry Golf Links in Latrobe, Pa. Tee times are set for 11:00 a.m.
