Penn State Altoona opened the first set by establishing a big lead, but Pitt-Bradford charged back and made things close. The Lions worked their way out to a 12-point advantage, 15-3, but the Panthers rallied to go on a 16-5 run to narrow Penn State Altoona's lead to one, 20-19. The Lions got kills from Myers and Simanski to create a little breathing room, and another Myers kill gave her team a 23-20 lead. A Pitt-Bradford service error got the Lions to set point, and one point later, Simanski's kill clinched the set for Penn State Altoona, 25-22.

Pitt-Bradford took a narrow lead early in the second set, then hung around for much of the game until Penn State Altoona pulled away late. Trailing 9-7, the Lions jumped ahead following a Simanski kill, Batrus ace, and Myers and Fussell combo block. Three straight kills by Myers helped Penn State Altoona to a 13-10 lead, and a Simanski kill put the Lions' advantage at four, 16-12. Pitt-Bradford worked its way back to within two, 18-16, but Penn State Altoona ended the set on a 7-1 run to win it by eight, 25-17.

Penn State Altoona secured a strong lead in the third set, en route to a seven-point victory. The Lions scored 13 of the set's first 18 points, getting four blocks during that span, three of which involved Port. Later, Port's kill kept the Lions' lead at six, 20-14, and Fussell's kill shortly thereafter put her team up by seven, 22-15. Two kills by Myers got Penn State Altoona to set point, and Simanski capped the win with a solo block for her team's 25th point.

Penn State Altoona travels to nearby Cresson for its next match, when the women's volleyball team will face AMCC rival Mount Aloysius College on Wednesday, October 25 at 7 p.m.
