Five Lions Named to AMCC Fall All-Sportsmanship Team

NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. – Five Penn State Altoona student-athletes took spots on the fall sports chapter of the 2021-22 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference All-Sportsmanship Team, which was announced on Thursday morning.

All teams that compete for an AMCC championship select one member from each of their rosters who displays good sportsmanship throughout the season to be included on the All-Sportsmanship team. These individuals are selected by a vote of their teammates.

The student-athlete selected by each team must consistently demonstrate a high level of ethical conduct, respect, and fair play in both practice and competition, whether on the sidelines or as an active competitor. Such sportsmanship shall be evident toward teammates, coaches, opponents, officials, and fans. The player must also serve as a positive representative of school spirit when a spectator at other teams' sporting events.

The Penn State Altoona fall sport student-athletes selected to the AMCC All-Sportsmanship team by their teammates are:

Women's Volleyball: freshman Michele Imler (Imler, PA/Claysburg-Kimmel)

Men's Golf: freshman Nathan Graham (North Huntington, PA/Norwin)

Women's Tennis: junior Jenna Bartlett (Bellwood, PA/Bellwood-Antis)

Men's Soccer: freshman Damian Dangler (Warminster, PA/William Tennent)

Women's Soccer: freshman Hannah Brubaker (San Diego, CA/Scripps Ranch)
