INDIANA, Pa. – The Penn State Altoona men's golf team will no longer compete in the Cecil C. Spadafora Invitational, hosted by the Indiana University of Pennsylvania this upcoming Monday, April 18 and Tuesday, April 19, as the tournament has been cancelled.

Due to an impending forecast of inclement weather that includes rain, snow, wind, and cold temperatures, the two-day tournament was cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

Barring the addition of another regular season event, the Penn State Altoona golf team's next competition will be the NCAA Division III Championships, which are held at Mission Inn Resort and Club at Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. on Tuesday, May 10 through Friday, May 13. The Lions earned the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Championships by virtue of winning the conference title this past fall.
