ALTOONA, Pa. – Penn State Altoona softball's home doubleheader against Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Mount Aloysius College, which was scheduled for today, April 20, has been postponed.

The doubleheader, which was to be played at Central Cambria High School in Ebensburg following a location change because of snow, was postponed on Wednesday morning due to field conditions that remained unplayable because of additional snowfall and a lack of melting. The games will be made up next Wednesday, April 27 at 3:00 p.m. and will be held on campus at Stewart Athletic Field.

With today's postponement, the Lions' next scheduled games are this Sunday, April 24, when the team will host AMCC opponent Hilbert College for a doubleheader at Stewart Athletic Field starting at 1:00 p.m. The date also marks Penn State Altoona softball's Senior Day.
