Baseball, Softball Teams Announce Schedule Changes for Weekend

ALTOONA, Pa. – More weather-related schedule changes were made by the Penn State Altoona baseball and softball programs on Thursday afternoon.

Baseball:

-Penn State Altoona baseball's doubleheader on the road against Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Alfred State College, which was scheduled for Saturday, April 6, has been moved to Sunday, April 7, due to snow. The location of the games has also been shifted to Bolivar-Richburg High School in Bolivar, N.Y. Game one will start at 1 p.m.

Softball:

-Penn State Altoona softball's road doubleheader at AMCC foe La Roche University, which was rescheduled earlier this week to Friday, April 5, has been postponed again due to wet field conditions. A makeup date for the conference games is pending.

-Softball's home doubleheader versus Alfred State on Saturday, April 6, has been postponed and rescheduled due to wet field conditions. The games will now happen on Sunday, April 7, and will take place at Claysburg-Kimmel High School in Claysburg, Pa. with a start time of 1 p.m. Additionally, admission will be $3 for adults and $1 for students.
