AMCC Postpones Round Robin #1 Due to Snow

NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. – Due to the expectation of significant snowfall in western New York later this week, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference announced on Tuesday that it was postponing this weekend's women's bowling Round Robin #1 event.

The Round Robin #1, the first of two AMCC regular season women's bowling tournaments, was set to occur this Saturday, November 19 and Sunday, November 20 at Classic Lanes in Kenmore, N.Y. However, with the weather forecast in that region projecting a major lake effect snowstorm beginning Thursday evening, the conference has decided to postpone this weekend's action.

A makeup date has not yet been decided. Check back to the Penn State Altoona Athletics website or social media accounts for any further updates.

With the postponement, the Penn State Altoona women's bowling team's next scheduled competition is Friday, January 27, when the Lions will open the three-day Saint Francis University Red Flash Invitational at Holiday Bowl in Altoona.
