WEBSTER, N.Y. – Following the conclusion of Friday night's finals session, which capped day three of the four-day Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championships at Webster Aquatic Center, the Penn State Altoona women's swimming team continued to hold down third place out of five conference teams.

Alfred State College was tops in the AMCC through three days with 587 team points, while Penn State Behrend trailed in second place with 544 points. Penn State Altoona's total of 430.5 points put it in third place, ranking ahead of fourth-place Pitt-Bradford and its 102 points and fifth-place Wells College and its 100 points. In the combined AMCC-Empire 8 meet, the Lions ranked fifth place out of 10 teams through Friday.

Penn State Altoona had swimmers make the cut to compete in 'A' finals for all six events, including having multiple swimmers qualify for the top finals in three different individual swims. Along the way, the Lions earned two AMCC gold medals and set one new team record.

In the 'A' final for the 400 Yard IM, Grace Dangelo (State College, PA/State College) won the AMCC title while also taking gold in the overall AMCC-Empire 8 standings by placing first in the swim with a time of 4:48.17.
