Penn State Altoona Set to Host AMCC Women’s Volleyball Final Four

ALTOONA, Pa. – With Wednesday night's results in the books, the final four teams are set to compete in this weekend's Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Women's Volleyball Tournament semifinal and championship matches, hosted by Penn State Altoona in its Adler Arena.

Penn State Altoona, which earned the AMCC's regular season championship and secured the number one seed in the postseason tournament, is hosting the conference playoffs for the first time since the 2017 season. The Lions hope to achieve their third-ever AMCC championship, which would represent the program's first since 2011.

The Lions and No. 2 seed Penn State Behrend each earned first-round byes and will be making their 2023 postseason debuts in this Saturday's semifinal matches. No. 3 seed Alfred State College and No. 5 seed La Roche University each won first-round tournament matches on Wednesday night, advancing to this weekend's semifinals.

The winner of this weekend's tournament receives the AMCC's automatic bid to compete in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
