Four Lions Named to CSC Academic All-District Women’s Volleyball Team
GREENWOOD, Ind. – Four Penn State Altoona women's volleyball student-athletes were recognized for their success in the classroom on Tuesday afternoon, when the College Sports Communicators (CSC) organization announced its Academic All-District women's volleyball teams.

To be eligible for a spot on the Academic All-District team, student-athletes must meet certain academic and athletic requirements. Academically, student-athletes must be at least sophomores while holding cumulative grade-point averages of 3.5 or higher. Athletically, players must be starters or key reserves who have played in at least 90 percent of their team's sets or have been a starter in at least two-thirds of their team's matches. Nominators could submit up to six qualified student-athletes per team.
Four Penn State Altoona women's volleyball student-athletes were named to the CSC's NCAA Division III Academic All-District team:
-junior libero Anna Batrus (Altoona, PA/Altoona); majoring in Business Management and Marketing
-senior outside/right side hitter Karlie Feathers (Bellwood, PA/Bellwood-Antis); majoring in Elementary and Early Childhood Education
-junior middle blocker Taylor Myers (Morrisdale, PA/West Branch); majoring in Nursing
-junior middle blocker Makenna Port (Bellefonte, PA/Bellefonte); majoring in Education
