Spring Run Stadium

Spring Run Stadium

In the fall of 2002, Penn State Altoona opened up its then-newest addition to the athletics facilities when Spring Run Stadium hosted its first soccer game. The field consists of an artificial turf playing surface surrounded by an eight-lane track. The unique blue surface on the track was the first of its kind in the Penn State system. The track is open to the campus and the community for recreational use when the varsity teams are not using the facility. Along with the track and soccer accommodations, Spring Run Stadium also has an enclosed press box, a large scoreboard, lights for night games and activities, and bleachers.
