Penn State Altoona's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Department of Recreation are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for the campus community. Each department has carefully worked to develop plans that allow for members of the Penn State Altoona campus to be reintroduced to the athletics facilities and athletic-related activities, while doing so in a responsible manner that adheres to health and safety guidelines that mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
Below is a list of Penn State Altoona's COVID-19 policies and protocols, as they relate to the campus' Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation programs. These plans and documents are developed in close consultation with organizations that include the NCAA, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference, and Penn State, while following guidelines and rules set at the national, state, and local levels. Please note that these policies and protocols will continue to change, per new developments related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
