Saturday Baseball Doubleheader Postponed
BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Penn State Altoona baseball doubleheader at non-conference opponent Bridgewater College, scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, February 29, has been postponed due to cold temperatures.
With Saturday's projected temperature in Bridgewater only expected to reach the low 30s, it was decided to postpone the doubleheader. A makeup date for the games has not yet been decided upon. Check back to the Penn State Altoona Athletics website or social media accounts for any further updates.
With the postponement, the Lions' next games will be the team's first of the Florida trip, as Penn State Altoona will take on Aurora University on Saturday, March 7 in a doubleheader beginning at 1:15 p.m. at Lake Myrtle Park in Auburndale.
