Behrend tied things up in the bottom half of the inning, when Josh Wagner's RBI double made it 1-1.

The teams traded runs again in the third, with Ennis' RBI double to left-center putting Penn State Altoona ahead in the top half and Isaac Stouffer's sacrifice fly evening the score in the bottom half for Behrend.

Tanner Cicchini's RBI single down the right field line gave the home team its first lead of the game in the bottom of the fourth, but the Lions knotted the score 3-3 in the top of the fifth when Iannizzi singled and later scored on an error.

Game Two: Penn State Behrend 10, Penn State Altoona 6

Behrend worked its way to a 10-0 advantage through seven innings, before Penn State Altoona put five runs on the board in the top of the eighth. Richard's RBI double plated the Lions' first run of the game, and Brechbill's RBI single drove in another. One batter later, Penn State Altoona got back-to-back run-scoring hits, as Breon's single down the left field line knocked in a pair and Ennis' base hit to left brought home another.

The Lions added another run in the top of the ninth when Hillard led off with a walk and later scored on Moslak's sac fly. But Penn State Altoona was unable to come up with any more runs, losing game two by four.
