ALTOONA, Pa. – The defending Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference champion Penn State Altoona men's golf team released its 2024 schedule on Monday afternoon.

Penn State Altoona begins its 2024 season in the annual Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic on Friday, September 6, and Saturday, September 7. The Lions will host round one at their home course, Sinking Valley Country Club, before Mount Aloysius College takes over hosting duties for round two at Summit Country Club in Cresson.

Next, Penn State Altoona competes in The Gauntlet on Sunday, September 15, and Monday, September 16, at Bucknell Golf Club in Lewisburg. The following day, Tuesday, September 17, the Lions will face Westminster College for the 4th Annual Hite Cup, which will be held at Omni Bedford Springs Resort in Bedford.

The Lions wrap up the month by playing in the NCAA Region V Showcase on Saturday, September 21, and Sunday, September 22, at Manakiki Golf Course in Willoughby, Ohio and The Northeast Elite on Saturday, September 28, and Sunday, September 29, at Williamsport Country Club in Williamsport.

Penn State Altoona starts October by competing in the Grove City Invitational on Thursday, October 3, at Grove City Country Club. The Lions will look to defend their conference title when they host the AMCC Championships on Monday, October 14, and Tuesday, October 15, at Butler Country Club.

Penn State Altoona concludes the fall portion of its schedule in The Melee on Sunday, October 20, and Monday, October 21, at Ford's Colony Country Club in Williamsburg, Va.

Penn State Altoona will continue its 2024-25 season with several dates in the spring semester, including hosting the Pennsylvania Classic on Saturday, March 29, and Sunday, March 30, at the Penn State Blue Course in State College. Additional spring dates will be announced later this season.
