High School: Four-year letter winner in basketball...two-year basketball team captain...four-year honor roll student.

Personal: Son of James and Melissa Bannister...majoring in Psychology...joined the Army after high school as a combat medic and was deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom...also plays for the varsity men's volleyball team at Penn State Altoona.
