ALTOONA, Pa. – The Penn State Altoona women's basketball program announced its 2024-25 season schedule on Wednesday afternoon.

The Lions' 25-game schedule is highlighted by their 16-date Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference schedule and a total of 11 home games to be played in Adler Arena.

Penn State Altoona gets its 2024-25 season underway with five consecutive road games, traveling to play York College (Pa.) (Friday, November 8 at 6 p.m.), Juniata College (Monday, November 11; start time TBA), Lycoming College (Wednesday, November 13 at 6 p.m.), Penn State Beaver (Friday, November 15 at 6 p.m.), and Gettysburg College (Wednesday, November 20 at 7 p.m.). The Lions host their home opener on Saturday, November 23, at 3 p.m. against Penn College, then wrap up the month with their first AMCC game of the season on Tuesday, November 26, at 7:30 p.m. at nearby rival Mount Aloysius College.

In December, Penn State Altoona hits the road to play AMCC opponents Pitt-Greensburg (Wednesday, December 4 at 7 p.m.) and Hilbert College (Saturday, December 7 at 3 p.m.), as well as Marywood University (Wednesday, December 11 at 6 p.m.). The Lions' final game of the semester is a home matchup with Alfred University on Saturday, December 14, at 3 p.m.

Penn State Altoona starts the new year with a home game against Messiah University (Saturday, January 4 at 1 p.m.) before focusing on AMCC play the rest of the way. At home in January, the Lions will face conference opponents Penn State Behrend (Wednesday, January 8 at 7:30 p.m.), Carlow University (Wednesday, January 15 at 7 p.m.), La Roche University (Saturday, January 18 at 4 p.m.), Hilbert (Saturday, January 25 at 3 p.m.), and Pitt-Greensburg (Wednesday, January 29 at 7 p.m.). On the road, the team takes on AMCC foes Alfred State College (Saturday, January 11 at 3 p.m.) and Pitt-Bradford (Wednesday, January 22 at 7 p.m.).

The Lions play their final six games of the regular season in February, with home contests against AMCC opponents Mount Aloysius (Wednesday, February 5 at 7:30 p.m.), Alfred State (Saturday, February 15 at 4 p.m.), and Pitt-Bradford (Wednesday, February 19 at 7 p.m.), as well as road games at conference foes Penn State Behrend (Saturday, February 8 at 4 p.m.), Carlow (Wednesday, February 12 at 7 p.m.), and La Roche (Saturday, February 22 at 4 p.m.).

The AMCC Tournament dates are Tuesday, February 25, for the first round, Friday, February 28, for the semifinals, and Saturday, March 1, for the championship game.
