
Seven Swimmers Named to CSC Academic All-District Teams
GREENWOOD, Ind. – Seven student-athletes from the Penn State Altoona swimming program were recognized for their standout performances in the classroom on Tuesday, when the College Sports Communicators announced their 2024-25 NCAA Division III Academic All-District teams.
To be eligible for a spot on an Academic All-District team, student-athletes must meet certain academic and athletic requirements. Academically, student-athletes must be at least sophomores while holding cumulative grade-point averages of 3.5 or higher. Athletically, swimmers must have competed in at least five competitions throughout the 2024-25 season, or posted a top-eight finish during a conference championship meet. Nominators could submit up to four qualified student-athletes per team.
Four members of the Penn State Altoona women's swimming team and three from the men's squad were named to the CSC's NCAA Division III Academic All-District teams:
Women's Swimming:
-senior Madison Coleman (Altoona, PA/Tyrone); majoring in Elementary and Early Childhood Education
-sophomore Emma Fraundorfer (Altoona, PA/Altoona); majoring in Business
-junior Isabella Rhoades (Tyrone, PA/Tyrone); majoring in Business Management/Marketing
-senior Hailey Toth (Tamaqua, PA/Tamaqua); majoring in Nursing
Men's Swimming:
-junior Adam Dotts (Hummelstown, PA/Lower Dauphin); majoring in Communications
-sophomore Hunter McMullen (Colver, PA/Central Cambria); majoring in Computer Engineering
-junior Caden Traggiai (Sarver, PA/Knoch); majoring in Human Development & Family Studies
