Bobcats Sweep Lions 9-0
ALTOONA, Pa. – The Penn State Altoona women's tennis team closed out its 2023 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference schedule at home on Sunday afternoon, when the Lions suffered a 9-0 loss at the hands of Pitt-Greensburg at the Adler Tennis Courts.
Pitt-Greensburg (9-2, 5-0 AMCC) remained undefeated in the conference, blanking Penn State Altoona (6-5, 3-2 AMCC) by winning all three doubles matches and six singles matches.
Penn State Altoona women's tennis will now prepare for the AMCC postseason tournament. A schedule of match times and matchups for the playoffs will be announced by the league office this week.
