NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. – Five student-athletes from Penn State Altoona women's volleyball were selected to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference's All-Conference team, which was announced on Tuesday morning.

Senior libero Anna Batrus (Altoona, PA/Altoona) was voted to the first team, senior middle blocker Makenna Port (Bellefonte, PA/Bellefonte) and sophomore outside hitter Lia Simanski (Altoona, PA/Bishop Guilfoyle) were both second-team selections, and senior middle blocker Taylor Myers (Morrisdale, PA/West Branch) and freshman outside hitter Ella Hadley (Spring Mills, PA/Penns Valley) were picked to the third team.

Batrus played in all 29 matches for Penn State Altoona in her senior season with the program. She led the AMCC in digs (554) and was third in digs per set (5.04). Additionally, Batrus was 18th in assists (96), 19th in assists per set (0.87), and 26th in service aces (27). She was named the AMCC Defensive Player of the Week twice during the season, receiving the award on Sept. 16 and Sept. 23.

Port played in all 29 matches in her senior campaign with the Lions. Among all players in the AMCC, she ranks fifth in total blocks (59), sixth in block assists (39) and hitting percentage (.260), eighth in solo blocks (20) and blocks per set (0.53), 11th in kills (206), 12th in points (246.5), 17th in kills per set (1.86), and 19th in points per set (2.2).

Simanski played in all 29 matches as a sophomore with Penn State Altoona. In the conference, she is seventh in kills (304), eighth in points (337.0), ninth in kills per set (2.74) and points per set (3.0), 11th in digs (340), 14th in digs per set (3.06), 26th in hitting percentage (.140), and 27th in service aces (26).

Myers played in all 29 matches in her senior year with the Penn State Altoona women's volleyball program. She leads the AMCC in service aces (58) while also ranking fourth in aces per set (0.52), 13th in points (244.5), 14th in solo blocks (16), 15th in total blocks (41), 18th in block assists (25), 20th in points per set (2.2), 22nd in kills (158), 23rd in hitting percentage (.154), and 26th in kills per set (1.42).

Hadley played in all 29 matches in her first year with the Lions. In the conference, she is 10th in kills (217), 11th in points (251.5), 12th in digs (309), 15th in points per set (2.3), 16th in kills per set (2.01), 19th in digs per set (2.86), 20th in service aces (30), 31st in aces per set (0.28), and 36th in hitting percentage (.103).

Penn State Altoona women's volleyball is 18-11 overall this season, including going 7-1 during the AMCC's regular season. The Lions defeated Penn State Behrend and Alfred State College to win the conference championship – the program's second in a row and fourth overall – and will play in the NCAA Division III Tournament this week.
