Men’s Soccer Suffers Loss in Season Opener

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Penn State Altoona men's soccer team started its 2024 season with a loss on Friday night, falling 3-0 to Grove City College at Don Lyle Field.

Originally scheduled for a 6 p.m. start, the game did not get underway until after 8 p.m., due to a lengthy weather delay while storms swept through the area.

Grove City drew first blood at 16:53, when Noah Gray found the back of the net to put the home team on the board. The Wolverines added to their lead with a John-Luc Harbour score at 25:16.

Grove City increased its lead to 3-0 just under five minutes into the second half, as Jordan Rebsamen's tally at 49:46 extended the Wolverines' advantage to 3-0.
